Bangladeshi Bowler’s Terrific Performance in 2023 World Cup in the Match Against Sri Lanka Shatters Points Table

They got all out on 279 runs.

The drama happened while Bangladesh was bowling in the first innings. They performed well. Shoriful Islam strikes the first wicket early. Then he took another one. Tanzim Hasan Sakib took 3 wickets in 80 runs, Shakib Al Hasan took 2 wickets in 57 runs. Mehidy Hasan took 1 wicket in 49 runs. A dramatic run-out of Angelo Mathews happened at that moment. Bangladesh dominated them in the first innings. 

In the second innings, Bangladesh didn’t have a desired start. Tanzid Hasan got out by scoring 9 runs. Litton Das played a knock of 23 runs in 22 balls. Najmul Shanto missed a century. He got out by scoring 90 runs in 101 balls. Shakib Al Hasan played a responsible knock of 82 runs. Mahmudullah got out on 22 runs. 

Sri Lanka tried well to dominate. Dilshan Madushanka picked up 3 wickets in 69 runs. Maheesh Theekshana took 2 wickets in 44 runs. Angelo Mathews took 2 wickets in 35 runs. Bangladesh won the match by 3 wickets.

It was a perfect dramatic showdown. The Sri Lankan bowler tried their best to dominate the Bangladeshi batters. Dilshan Madushanka shined the brightest. He took three wickets in 69 runs. His first wicket of the match was Tanzid Hasan. He got out on 9 runs. As his second wicket, he picked up Litton Das. he got out on 23 runs. Mushfiqur Rahim was his third and final wicket of this match. Madushanka picked him when Rahim was batting on 10. With this excellent spell, He has become the number one bowler on the highest wicketkeeper’s list with 21 wickets. His economy rate of the match was 6.90.
